The Starling, known for its murmuration, largely unknown for the flocks’ ability to interfere with Wifi signals. Perhaps they are saying “look at this display? – turn off your devices and look!”. To visualise a murmuration requires a specialist piece of machinery – built in 1972, the harmonograph provided hours of mesmerising, unrepeatable and unpredictable results.
